When you really think about it, with the way that transportation has been evolving is an incredible thing to dissect. Right around 100 years ago, we were just getting our bearings on how to fly over incredibly short distance but now, you can get anywhere in the world in less than a day. It’s something that we take for granted because, for most of us, it’s been a common part of culture for our entire lives. However, when you take a moment to really comprehend exactly how impressive that is, you’ll really give yourself an all new appreciation for all that is travel.

Now with all of the recent advancements in transportation being focused on things like electric cars and self driving technology along with technologies like Hyperloop, you forget that things like trains still exist and are still highly used and constantly being developed just like the rest of the methods that we utilize to get around. This time, we just so happen to check out the world’s fastest bullet train that has been launched in China, allowing its occupants to travel 217 mph. This isn’t speculation about the future like a lot of the advancements that we read about, but instead, really happening in the physical world.

Check out the video below that tells all about the train that will be able to get people in China from Shanghai to Beijing in just 4.5 hours. This is a ride that would take 12 hours by car and previously, around 8 by train. China says that they soon hope to be able to take this technology and export it overseas so who knows, it could only be a matter of time before you’re able to travel into the city of your choosing while reaching these incredible speeds.
